I really don't care who knocks Spurs out of Europe.

I'd rather you don't play United because that means one of you will make it to the next round to embarrass England.

I knew that, if I got this thread wrong, PIXIE would be crying "wum fcuk-up!" like a demented parrot. That's the reason why I was so very careful with how I set this thread out. If you guys go back and look, you will clearly see that no where do I predict that Arsenal will crash out of the CL before the knock-out stages; I merely pose the suggestion that fans would like to see Arsenal and Spurs go head-to-head in the Europa.

All in all, I think we must all agree that my honour and dignity are safe.

As for Arsenal, getting through to the knock-out stage is a mixed blessing. Sure, it's great for now, but it's not going to seem so great when they are getting torn apart by Barca or Real. Another humiliating experience awaits us all, as Englishmen. I am feeling soiled at the mere thought of it!
