A thread on the Rangers board called "Taig" gallery has had almost 1000 posts, as you may have guessed by the title - which itself is offensive and sectarian- it was not exactly PC and despite my protests at the title, never mind the content, it was left unchanged until recently when as a Rangers Minded joke it was changed to "Tims Gallery - Fenian Photos". So far so hilarious i'm sure you will agree. In the last few days it has descended ever deeper into a point scoring excercise of racism, sectarianism and the mocking of disabled kids who happened to be wearing Celtic tops. Pretty disgusting stuff had it been posted by teenagers or kids, but alas we are talking about alleged adults here. Bad as that was I continued to argue the toss with these lowlifes who thought this sort of stuff was funny, all to no avail. Several other Celtic fans and myself decided we would post images of Rangers fans on the same thread, what's sauce for the Goose is sauce for the gander after all. Imagine my surprise when I checked the thread this morning to see that the images (none of which were in any way offensive incidentally) had been deleted, by the forum Moderator who has decided in his wisdom that sectarianism, racism and any other ism is ok as long as it's been posted by a Rangers fan, but heaven forfend a Celtic fans should post a picture of a Gers fan, we can't be having that can we? In the light of my complaints the thread title has been changed again to "Pictures of Sellick fans". I wonder why? Is Not606 now a dictatorship?
I also think one of the points was that you could put up pictures of Rangers fans, but on the Celtic board, you could call it, I don't know...Pictures of Rangers Fans.
Dev, I'd said a few times now, tell me the post numbers of anything that offends you in the thread and I'll delete if necessary. The name changes to the thread were a joke, it's the internet
Why do you care so much? For the record, no I do not think not606 is a dictatorship and if somebody was on this site who had lived under a dictatorship, I think the person would be deeply offended by your remarks.
You're not so innocent yourself Dev. I have told you countless times that the term Hun is a derogatory term and deemed sectarian. You have argued countless times that it isn't but got arguments sake let's just talk about the meaning of that word in Northern Ireland. After explaining to you that it is a term used by nationalists to label the unionist community. When I asked you to stop using the word, you and your pals lobbed insult after insult at me claiming you were doing no wrong because you do t deem it sectarian. Dev Just stay off the thread mate. They're a bunch of ****ing weans pissing themselves laughing at disabled people. It just sums the pricks up. The fact that middle-aged men like EDGE and Girvan Loyal think posting pictures of disabled kids is funny is just testement to how far into the gutter they're willing to crawl to make up for their dull lives.
Fair enough. But tell yer mate Medro to stop coming onto the Celtic board and preaching to us about how certain words are offensive while the Rangers board that you are supposed to moderate is full of words like taig, tarrier and fenian.
