I love the fact we HAVE to win to be sure but could draw and still qualify! It's all academic anyway, all 3 teams will be going out in the Last 16 if they do qualify.

Well technically it would take months for us to show up seeing as you started this thread near the end of September, and the group stages and its full results come to a conclusion in December, and those results have seen your side dumped out of the competition.

Playing devil's advocate, it may help other clubs if both The Goons and The Chavs get through to the next round. We're currently in danger of losing our fourth spot in the CL, something very few of us want the way things are going this season.
Maureen will go all out to try and win the CL this season as it's the only way they are going to qualify for the comp next season. There could be a repeat of the scenario where Spurs missed out on CL football because Chelsea finished outside of the top 4 but qualified by winning it.
They're not good enough to win it. Not by a long way right now. If our fourth spot gets taken away and given to Italy, it's not gong to help any of us.
Well we finished 3rd last season so we would have still qualified. But I agree with your overall sentiment.
