Possible and should not be ruled out. However I suspect non of our players fancy another PL relegation fight. Like Elmo, I expect the out of contract players to stay and review there options in the summer. twt like.
I'd defo sell Davies in Jan, we look defensively weak and nervy with him at the back. There are a few defenders we could take from lower championship clubs that I think would do a better job.
Davies will be gone in the summer, so we might as well cash in during January if we can. The same applies to Huddlestone.
Championship clubs would take Davies and you'd have to expect that he'd be happy to go there, but who would pay money for Huddlestone? I cant see any Premier League teams wanting him and the only Championship club he'd join would be Derby.
Must be just me who doesn't care if Chester doesn't play for the Baggies. My heart strings aren't tugged by his sister's & his missus' crying on Twitter either. If Pulis doesn't rate him then that's his problem. He was class for us but we got a decent wedge from selling him. We've got players as good as Chester in that position. Noticed whinging about McShane & Quinn has stopped as well. Although, fair play to Brady for putting in some impressive performances for Norwich.
Brady's a class act, I reckon he will get a chance at one of the bigger teams eventually, not many left footers with his attributes can see him somewhere like Everton
Don't think anyone whinged about Quinn leaving did they? It was more of a relief, he was ****e and did nowt but slow the game down playing short sideways and backwards passes and bugger all else.
He will, he's definitely one that got away. His ability was immediately apparent the day he first joined on loan under Pearson. He really has everything, and will only get better with time and experience.
He wasn't very good either. Bang average, lots of running, achieved **** all. I don't use twatter so you're right, in fact I didn't read any of it.
Yeah, as if you know. However I have doubts that we would offer him a new deal anyway especially back in the PL. If we could somehow get Chester back in January then I would not be worried even if Davies did go when the window opens.
What? We had conceded 0 goals without him and have conceded 5 with him, so what you say makes no sense
Eh, why would Hudds only join Derby? Why would they want him, they splashed out big in the summer for midfielders! Hudds won't go anywhere, unless some bottom PL team see him as the answer or maybe QPR?
Players? I'd agree we have a player, in Dawson, as good as Chezzy, but neither Bruce, Maguire or Davies are nearly as good. Yet he still managed more goals and assists than Huddlestone in far less games last season, speaks volumes doesn't it.
Presumably, but it still makes little sense, the results in the 17 games Davies has played in were W7 D6 L4 with 6 clean sheets.
