What are your thoughts? I've known some bent ****s who were right hard bastards.
Personally, wouldn't bother me as long as they stayed focused & did their job.

Gays are so savvy these days, they know one from fifteen yards away. They aren't going to disrupt a barrack room any more than you or me. I agree with you - boll**ks. If a lad can do the job, let him.

Somebody, somewhere, please find the Monty Python Sketch with the Gay Platoon going through a drill. Sure they were called the Queen's Own something or other.

It started with squad bashing and them all singing "watch out duck, al scratch you're eyes out....."

    C'mon. Someone be really clever

Would just be another bloke to me, like everybody, as long as he can pass the training, get him in.

Of course he would also come in handy, when you are on tour, a long way from home, missing the wife... <laugh>

It's not wrong to say that the Household Cavalry haven't looked happy since they started driving tanks...

I once saw a Julian Clary lookalike throw a bloke through the window in the DunCow back in the 70s. No one took the piss out of him after that.

It's a non issue for me. I think in the future people will look back on this time and be amazed that some of us were homophobic.

I know it's impossible but it'd be absolutely fascinating to see what the world will be like 1000 years from now. A devastated husk of a planet? A highly evolved place where wars and violence no longer exist? Sort of the same as now but Sunderland AFC have won the league 200 seasons in a row? Probably the last one.
