If the scores stay like this then chelsea will be 4 points off 13th place - thats the joint biggest gap in the league along with the gap between villa and Newcastle at the bottom. Ie a huge gap for this early in the season.

I won't lie, Chelsea's kit for next season is class. At least they'll look classy in it so the Chavs can look forward to that

A brilliant weekend for us, I have to say.

It still bugs me that we didn't take full advantage of the WBA & Norwich games as we could have built a points-gap at the top, but at least we're still in with a shout. To be honest, I expect us to be in the mix until after Xmas. It's what we do from January onward that matters because there will be little room for error.

It all depends on who we can keep fit. If we have Sanchez, Ozil, Ramsey, Walcott available and then Coq and Cazorla to come back at the sharp end of the season, then we could be in with a shout.

Also depends on what we do in Jan, I saw a rumour that we're back in for Lars Bender. Would be a great signing, but I'm beyond even going there in terms of speculating whether we'll actually do a deal.

If we're still in the race, having a fresh Cazorla and Coq will be great news, our players are always usually looking tired during those months, so it'd be a massive boost. If we can get Wilshere-Welbeck back in January that'd be a boost too, since they won't be fatigued either come March.

Sanchez is also getting a good 3-4 weeks rest now, and for a man like him, that's enough to recharge his batteries for a good 6 months.

It would seem like a ****ing miracle if we could keep all of those players fit at the same time. But the point stands that our squad, when fit, are good enough to challenge for the title.

Man, if we can keep all those players fit once they come back from injury, we should win the league. The real issue are our physios/training methods. Walcott, Wilshere, Oxo etc would be well above their current levels if it weren't for injuries. If we could sort that problem out, we'd have a real English spine to the team.
