Shelvey :l The Striker

In 4 games in August we had 29 shots on target .
In11 games since we had 27 shots on target.
All problems lead to this fact imo .
Anyone here hear anything else on Shelvey's demeanor toward the club , has he been at training ?

 

Bonyfied class : Comes on as a sub at 65 minutes down 2-1 , players a perfect dummy on the tying goal , makes a brilliant move to beat a defender and sets up Sterling with a beautiful pass for the winning goal , and scores a beauty for an insurance goal ...all in 20 minutes.

 

for the 1st he missed his shot , it was great pass for the second and his goal came back off the defender which me and you could have scored .(just trying to console myself )

 

Nope , 1st was a pure dummy that accidentally touched him minimumly , the move to beat the defender and pass to Sterling was pure brilliance on the 2nd goal and on his goal he was lucky to get a shot away within the time he had and difficulty of the original shot itself but was enough to let a rebound come back to him where he calmly put it away .
The difference between Monk's first full season and this season is Bony 's play up till he was transfered and we skated home with the confidence he left us with points already accumulated.
And frankly , if not for Bony presence , we may have very well been relegated at the end of 2013 -2014 .
All roads that lead us to the problems we have now come from not having a "Bony " type player imo
