Is there a reason why you hold people who like Kanye & Kim West with so much disdain? Like I don't like either of them, but I think it's ridiculous when someone who's so obsessed with a massively commercialized sport takes some sort of negative view of people who takes an interest in music/fashion/'showbiz'.
Nothing against the Wests...it's just the idea that someone thinks that people that ephemeral (in a cultural sense) are worthy of a permanent tribute....though I do suspect it was started as a joke.

Can anyone explain to me why Oscar Pistorius has been bailed until April after he has been convicted for murder? Just sentence him now for goodness sake.
I wonder how he has struggled mentally with all of this . If he had been found guilty of Murder in the first instance , he would not have had the hope ripped away from under him .......
Well he shot at someone in a toilet cubicle 4 times, so obviously he was trying to kill them, hence he is a murderer. What amazes me is he is allowed out on bail. I'm really not concerned how he's coping mentally, it's the victims family who have the coping to do!
if he hadn't blown his girlfriend to smithereens he'd have saved himself and a lot of other people no end of mental struggle.
A young rugby player, Lilly Partridge, has died during training in Devon. She had had 2 concussions before, but had undergone the requisite recovery periods. This will raise this issue of concussion again, but no sport will ever be completely safe. Poor girl.

Just left the evening with Koeman. Good news: remembered to record 42 minutes from Ronald's chat at tonight's dinner. Bad news: Ronald said if he could manage any other Premier League team, it'd be Liverpool. Also said if we sign anyone it'll be a striker, but it won't be Charlie Austin. Had another little moan, about our reluctance to pay bigger fees but also bigger wages. I'll try and upload the audio in full tomorrow afternoon.
