There's little doubt that Liverpool will improve under Klopp. I know some Liverpool fans don't rate him but he's a far superior manager to the #fraud Rodgers.

Yeah, and like he genuinely wants Maureen to keep his job at the bridge for sentimental reasons and he really thinks Neville won't do well at Valencia.

Liverpool FC are always on Lord Buckfast's mind, he even dedicated a chapter in his book to us.:emoticon-0105-wink:

Well he does have a lot to thank them for.
The whole basis of his initial success at United was his completion of his original mandate, which was to topple Liverpool from the top of English football.
It's kinda like David and Goliath.
David could be forgiven for going on about it, because it was a pretty decent feat to accomplish.
Liverpool were ridiculously good in the 80's, on a world wide scale. Even as a nipper I remember them smashing all comers.
To supplant them so effectively, and then to beat their title haul, is a great achievement.

Understandably so as knocking Liverpool off their ****ing perch was the mission he set himself when he took over at United. Mission accomplished.

I think he's just a poor OAP watching his life's work being ruined by the beavis and buthead pairing now in charge

you have to feel sorry for him (and utd fans) really.

If we could just re-overtake them or at least win the title before he croaks it. That would be sweet.

TBF he's also #worried his £100,000/day fee for being a club ambassador might be at risk if Man Utd's reputation is damaged too much

It's a bigger perch than he thought, domestically he done the business but it clearly broke his heart our European record still pisses over Utd's.

At least you've got something left to cling onto. Otherwise you'd be even more bitter than you are! You didn't think it would turn out like this when you were showing off your tache and perm in the 80's!

Astro, good to see you join the discussion. As a Liverpool fan who doesn't rate Klopp, what do you make of Sir Alex's comments? How many of your disciples have you managed to convince that sacking Rodgers and appointing Klopp was a mistake? Or are they all still, as you put it, "morons"?

Tut tut, stereotypical ****e from you, who'd have guessed it.<laugh>

Thing is I've witnessed LFC win 5 big ones, 2 more than any Utd fan has witnessed their club win, nothing bitter about that.
