Music lovers - this kid Paul Steel is a little genius and running a Pledge campaign for his new record, April & II. If you're a Beach Boys fan and have a spare couple of quid, you should definitely give him some support! It'll be a cracking album. http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/paul-steel-april-and-ii
Taking the old man for a three-course dinner and drinks with Ronald Koeman tonight. (N.B: If you can get someone a birthday present which requires yourself as the like plus one, do it!)
My favourite kind of gift....a treat for me. Have a great time and try not to grill Ron too much...............but if you do, report back here.
Having new windows put in. Day 2 and the fitters have copped a strop because we weren't happy with the fact that they didn't clear up the glass they broke from a window yesterday when they took it out. Glass swept up partially but left the rest scattered around outside the back door ready for the dog to run through. Had a couple of other issues all politely put but he said he was off to phone his office. Good I thought I would love to talk to them! He calmed down and they are now doing some more windows. Roll on Thursday when they will be long gone.
That's unusual. have always found window fitters efficient and they certainly clean up afterwards. Hope it's all sorted.
You'll have a cracking album though and with your name on the sleeve! Great stuff (and no, I don't manage him, so that's without bias!)
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...shing-father-christmas-obituary-a6764316.html Norwegian paper has had to apologise after publishing a fictional obituary for Father Christmas. There are some things you just don't joke about...especially before I've got my Crimble presents.
http://news.sky.com/story/1601675/watch-bataclan-band-join-u2-on-stage Eagles of Death Metal joined U2 on stage in Paris. One up to human spirit over forces of hate. I think this was a better and safer idea than putting on a highly publicised return concert of their own.
Yes we were surprised. Checkatrade too so obviously unable to give 10. After he phoned his office the owner has just appeared so now his boss knows all the issues too. Don't think he thought that through. Owner agreed with me (could he really do much else?) and has had a word. I did ask him to make sure he didn't make it worse! Just want them to get on with it and go as soon as possible. Gave them biscuits too!
I see that that Kardashian woman and Kanye West have named their nipper Saint West. I have convinced myself that it is because they are both Southampton supporters rather than they are just weird.
On the subject of Kanye West i live in the historical city of Canterbury - We have our own archbishop and everything. Some people have too much time on their hands as there is a petition to rename our local railway station from Canterbury West station to Kanye West station. It has over 1,000 signatures. http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/artic...-canterbury-west-station---kanye-west-station Whatever next?
