Just reject the transfers offers. When they come after new contracts because of the demand if you don't like the terms they want just walk away. They'll come for a chat, tell them you want to build the club around them. If they're still not happy tell them you'll let them leave at the end of the season. Get up to about March with them playing and you doing well and offer them a new longer contract and you should be ok. It's just about stringing them along with promises they can leave until you're in a position to be the club they want to be at.

And for whoever it was looking for a free left back, train Cooper up, it only takes about a month for him to be a proper green circle on it if he's playing there as well (make him available for the reserves then arrange lots of reserve friendlies against the U18s to give him more match time there).

The people who think we are sad just dont understand the addictiveness.

My ex finished me as i spent too much time on football manager and not with her. She just didnt understand the thrill of winning the prem with Barrow AFC and taking them in to Europe with my captain been a Polish regen i found at aged 15 and nurtured him in the world XI at aged 21.

Ok maybe we are sad but its worth it. ha

    Phew!

I was 8 points clear at the top with 10 games to go. Then disater struck and Loach got injured, my only other keeper was Oxley who is beyond useless. My form dropped and I didn't win in 7 games. I ended up finishing 3rd behind West Ham and Leicester. I beat Brighton in the Semi finals of the play-off and drew 0-0 with Birmingham in the final, of course Bullard went of injured after 4 minutes.. Kilbane (who was only playing because Dawson was injured) scored the winning penalty.

Top scorer ended up as Simpson with 24 goals. League top scorer was Carlton Cole who some how managed 33 goals.

    Now onto the PL.
