    What I always say about pundit and ex-pro comments is that if these Saints players are so good for this and that rival club then they're probably excellent for Southampton.

    Right, I know it's unbelievably unrealistic, and a MASSIVE long shot, but if I was Les I would be spending all my effort trying to convince Remy that he could make the Euros next Summer playing for us. If he can't get in the team when Costa is being dropped and HAzard as false 9 then what hope does he have? And with Benzema not likely to be in the Euro squad there's a real chance for Remy there if he wants it enough.

    As I said though, never going to happen.

    That's what happens if you don't play for Saints...we'd have got him in the Liverpool or Arsenal side by now. :)

    He plays in midfield as well. Though I'm not convinced by the article's interpretation of Saint's recent transfer dealings as; "Ronald Koeman is always looking to make improvements, even if it comes at a cost to a popular player."

    It won't happen but my wish would be for RK to persuade Robben to join the Saints in January as he must surely be approaching the end of his days at Bayern. It would certainly raise our profile in the area and beyond, push up attendances again towards the maximum and inject a fresh impetus to our play.
