You need to be waited on hand and foot and every whim catered for, for at least a week to ensure a full recovery. Them wimmen don`t realise how dangerous it can be. I mean, yer bits might fall off or anything.
Bobby, I'm loving these rotten buggers taking the p*ss - well, why not? But I've got it too, and it's a real bitch. One thing I would say - keep blowing your nose, etc. - my sister had it about a week ago, and the pressure built up in her sinuses got to such a level, it punctured her ear drum ! She's now deaf in one ear for about the next six to eight weeks. So do keep blowing, mate. Get well soon - and do take grandpops' advice above, won't you.
You get some daft advice on here. Don't blow your nose if sinus pressure is effecting your ears in any way. Worst thing you can do. Hot Eucalyptus vapor will thin the mucus and relieve the pressure on your sinus making it safe to blow your nose. Bowl of hot water with some of that oil and a towel over your head.
You get one or two desperate 'know-it-alls' on here. If you blow your nose early enough and often enough, pressure on your ears won't build up in the first place. That's the whole object, like.
Blowing your nose with an infection is the worst thing you can do, if the infected mucus reaches the sinuses it can lead to sinusitis, something I suffer from a lot as I have a stupid ****ing dust allergy.
Most definitely worse than the female variety, last winter here I even had to give the regular Tuesday night pub trip a miss, no sympathy from her indoors either
That's a separate point though, isn't it? If it hasn't reached your sinuses already, how can it be bursting your ear drum (which is what we were talking about)?
I'm not even starting talking to him again, it's pointless. Even if we agree on something we'll find a way to argue... **** it.
That`s a bad dose you had there mate but you shouldn`t starve yourself. remember: Beer is made with yeast. Bread is made with yeast. Therefore beer is liquid bread. That`s called logic that is.
