Any meltdowns yet Tight game tight margins, lino's call was a game changer, cos had that stood, I think Newcastle would have disintegrated, but it didn't and they suckerpunched us late on, fair play to them. Was a tight scrappy game with both teams not really creating much. Our pressing wasn't great and we were sloppy in possession but fair play to Newcy who were quite resilient and took the chance when it came for the first goal. Moreno's was a goal. Then they got jump on us for the second goal as we were pushing up looking for an equaliser and the ball broke favourably for their man near our goal / in our half. Alright you could say that one or two of our lads should've got back but it broke real quick and we were camped around their box. **** happens, you see those all the time in football in that situation. Said when I got up this morning Newcy are due a result and with the hype around us at the minute we were obviously always going to run into that one ****ing magpie who's always there looking for trouble.
You are talking to the converted. We started season terribly...our players looked down and out. We sacked a manager and got a better one in but nobody believed he'd impose his style on this demoralised lot as quickly as he did but it was always going to be fragile. Heck most of us weren't talking top 4 expectations and he had half a season to "study" However...none of you "certs" look remotely like usual champions material..everyone looks vunerable, everyone looks like they overspent on bollox. So......we have gone from no chance of top 4 to competitive for top 4....and no pressure on us (or our manager) for title. Actually for all your "dull want to die to stop watching" football I think you have more chance than City.

City no matter what they spend appear to need Kompany on the pitch to win. Us...well. Arsenal...same **** diffrent day. Spurs...same as us. I think the quality of managers in the prem and at most of the top clubs around Europe is 5hit as well. The trouble with modern football where money rules is that the up and coming managers (who would have emerged and demonstrated success in periods such as the 90's) are not getting a look in.
I browsearound all the time It is very clear though even to a man with a Labrador that Astro certainly gets under the skin. Always has always will it seems. Sad that some families are missing quality time because LFC lost a game. Those lads need to get a life in reality
