Milner is a midfield equivalent of Kuyt ie not good enough to play in the middle but put him out wide right and he will offer lots of energy and defensive solidity, will also make a contribution goals and assists wise , will never being the best in that position but would be a useful addition to most squads.
I agree. But we need better than that at times. Allen unlocks defences with a killer pass with runners.....today we had no running. Lucas is great at holding the play. I can't see what extra Milner offers.
Better have a word with Klopp, he obviously knows nothing about football as he picks Milner for every game.
He will continue to, until he gets the players in he needs. Milner is reliable and does a job, but is easily replaceable in the tranfer market.

I agree. Klopp does know best, he's managing the squad as he can. Milner delivers a solid 7 every game. No frills.....as I initially stated, don't see what extra he brings.
Klopp was very classy indeed in his post match interview lads. Seems a genuinely nice bloke. Your fans were a credit to the club today also. Not a single spot of bother. Best of luck for the rest of the season. I predict a minimum of top 4 as achieveable.
