on one of the Swans supporters sites, he had a blue with Siggy therefore was told that by the Baboon Phil (not the Baboon Phil, the Baboon, Phil)

I'm wondering if this strange choice of Bartley over Fernandez is because Monk thinks he's returning the team to an attacking possession style of football like we used to play. It's coincided with Leon's return to the side and he's persevering with it, deludedly. I know Fed's hopeless at passing forward but he must start over Kyle, it's madness.

Right been to church, done confession, said 20 Hail Mary's and lit a load of candles.

I hope that's enough to to get that Buffon Monk sacked today. Don't think my knees can tak another trip tomorrow!! :)

Pep has shown he is ambitious and can't do any worse as an interim manager. The players were arguing amongst each other and clearly not playing as a team yesterday. Pep could say he is starting afresh and we could see what he could do. Man City are not invincible and a spirited performance would at least demonstrate some hope.

It would be a kindness to Monk to put him out of his misery now.

Some weeks ago I saw a list of 5 foreign managers - with details of past achievements - who would suit us and are available. Anybody have a link, please?

Could only guess .... Moyes , Rafa , Capello , Rodgers and Frank De Boar .
Whether Rodgers and Moyes are foreign would be up for debate I guess.

My 2 peneth on yesterday, I have never been so embarrassed as I was yesterday of a performance, If we had lost that by 7 or 8 it wouldn't have been an injustice. Monk is clueless and his substitutions were pathetic. Why did we persevere with both Ayew and Gomis. They were both awful yesterday and looked like they are here just to take some easy money, because there was certainly no effort Gomis looked like he was sulking from the start. As soon as we had 2 natural wingers on the pitch we actually looked a bit better.

Time for the clown to go and if HJ doesn't sack him then he should do the right thing and walk.

It appears Mark Warburton is one of the favourites for the job.

In my books , Laudrup should have never been sacked and I'll leave it at that ....

It should come as no surprise, but I have a great deal of sympathy with that point of view.

I've always found Bartley more of an old school sort of defender. For the love of me, I cannot understand why Amat is not playing.

My Mother in Law is available - she's 74, been out of work for about 20 years and has a gammy leg. I'm sure she'd be better than what we have.

Was never a Monk or Laudrup problem .
I actually feel a bit sorry for Monk , who knows how restricted he was with Jenkins , we'll probably never know .
I would have taken a bullit for Jenkins up till he fired Laudrup's agent , he lost the plot from there imo.
From that point , in my books , Jenkins went from Hero to Zero to Nero ....fiddling while Swansea burned .

I don't agree, Roof. I still think this is the best squad we've ever had, so that should mean we at least maintain a top half finish. Therefore, there's only one person to blame - Monk.
