I don't doubt that you 'don't think there is any doubt Cellino said it'. If the Daily Mirror told you that Cellino lived on the moon, you'd have an eppi on here because he tells the players they must live locally! You'll believe anything about Cellino if it suits your hate campaign. As for Phil Hay, I'm sure he would have run with the story if there was anything in it. Our more rabid Cellino-haters, if they can find a moment of logic in their crazed minds, should now be congratulaing Cellino & not Evans for such a great team he selected & tactics that he employed. Yes they do go out of their way. You know yourself that there is a great hatred of Leeds nd it pervades all sections of society, including journos. It's abndantly clear to most - why not you? Even BBC R5, when reporting our score last night at 5pm, quickly skipped over the scoreline to mention that we had a protest & crowd trouble! Hardly noticeable, and observable week in week out here & elsewhere if you choose to look, but rarely reported. Unless it's Leeds. The anti Leeds sentiment exists ( it's part of been a Leeds fan) however it's nowhere as big as you are trying to paint it. In the 60s and 70s maybe. But since then we have traded on it.
