  1. This is a straight-forward poll - yes, or no.

The same debate is raging on the Durham & Gough show, on TalkSport. Durham is blaming Wenger, as I think most people do. Even PIXIE has sided with IQ87 on this one. If Wenger fails to get top 4 this season, surely he has to go!

Well, that's the subject for another debate. For now, I need to find out if you boys blame Wenger for the appalling injury crisis at Arsenal.

    I believe that he is.

No wumming, as usual, lads. Thanks.

If a player gets his leg broken by a another team's player, is it the fault of the manager ? No.

if a player gets pushed off the pitch by another team's player into hoardings and dislocates his shoulder, is it the fault of the manager ? No.

if a player gets tackled and injured by another team's player, is it the fault of the manager ? No.

All the above have actually happened to Arsenal in recent seasons.

if a player gets injured in training while playing against team mates is it the fault of the manager ? No. Football is a contact sport and at some point most players will get an injury of some sort, it just bad luck.

if a player gets injured in training and it can be proved beyond doubt that the training methods are at fault then it is the training staff that are at fault as most teams have specialist training staff.

if a player has a injury scare or worry and the manager picks him to play after taking advice from the medical team that he is okay to play, then anything that happens is not the fault of the manager. BUT if the manager picks a player against the advice of medical team then anything that happens IS the manager' fault.

read what I posted, it's about football on a football forum ! You should try it.

hiag posted a question about injuries and I have replied, if Wenger does pick players who are injured he would be to blame if it is against the advice of the medical team.

It was debated on talksport and it is open for discussion - it appears from reading some press articles (which are linked in other threads) that we don't have the most injuries, a fact I did find surprising:)

So no need for trawler picture for me - you may need it for others :)

  9. Indeed, G4E.

For my own part, I think there is a problem with Wenger. It cannot be a coincidence that he has more of his key players, in any one season, on the treatment table.

PIXIE and IQ87 are right to be angry with Wenger.

HIAG your jealousy over us having a manager as good as Wenger is highly amusing.

This is a straight forward Yes or No question, to ask whether HIAG will demonstrate his admission of more wum-****-uppery by posting the fish picture ?

    Yes
    No

I think that this sums it up. No matter what your opinions are on the hows and whys, the ultimate responsibility has to be with Wenger.
Fragile players? He bought them. Poor training? His responsibility. Unsuitable facilities? He's been there long enough to change them.
Even if you look to the medical staff, he has to know whether it's an issue or not.

And yet Wenger has had more success in 20 years than Spurs ever have had !

ironic that Spurs fans take the piss when in reality they would die to have such "failure".

even at our worse we are better than Spurs, and they know it and that's what rankles them :)

You seem to turn everything into a discussion about Spurs, much like your dad, Piskie. Very strange behaviour.
Have you ever considered discussing the subject at hand or would that be a bit too outlandish an idea?

Which one of you is Ty, by the way?

Hoddle is a god likes this.
  16. G4E turns every discussion about Arsenal into a pop at Spurs, very much in the same way that PIXIE turns every discussion of Spurs into a pop at me. They are each obsessed, and demonstrate their obsession in a juvenile fashion.

So your not rankled then ?

so are you Hiag's mum or are you his dad, as you seem to spend so much time following him around. Or are you his carer ?

says the boy that only posts about the failure of Wenger and Arsenal !
All I do is respond and point out that our so called failures still make us more successful than Spurs will ever be.

No, I'm not rankled at all. I'm not the one spouting on about a completely different subject to the thread.
