Aluko's game plan appears to be:- 1:- Receive ball, run round in circles, attack defender, run into said defender, fall down. 2:- Receive ball, run round in circles, attack and beat defender (occasionally) scuff shot, fall down. That to me seems to be the total of his game nowadays, as opposed to when he first joined us.
Diomande will be our savour. The fat controller will become and new Sarge at the back and the return of the Irish crab will see our midfield blossom, you just wait and see. In Bruce we trust. Allam OUT.
Hayden looked fine when ask to play. the big danger is now the window is getting close he goes back to arsenal, to look for game time elsewhere
Hernandez has 8 this season. Hands up if you thought he'd manage half that. Long way to go in the season, no one player is going to be our 'saviour', this team has to pull together and take responsibility.
You could have said the same last season towards the back end of last season Sterling and the team didn't pull together and take responsibility, a lot of those players are still there so why should it be any different now with the same manager and same botched tactics
he might have 8 but at least half of them have been scored from a yard out - yes he's in the right place at the right time but he's a bit hopeless at running with the ball and beating the keeper like a normal striker does
I don't think you can blame Huddlestone for how he plays. He played this way before he joined the club, he played this way for two years in the Premier League and he has played that way in the Championship. You can't expect him to play like Meyler does as he isn't Meyler and he isn't that type of player. I don't think Huddlestone has done that badly since he came back into the side. The issue is the type of player Huddlestone is doesn't work for us. It's clear we are a worse team with him playing, but that's down to Bruce picking him. Bruce knows exactly how he is going to play but continues to pick him. We need to find a different way of playing when Huddlestone is in the team or pick someone else.
Jeebus. I'm not best pleased we lost, especially against TWS but the mental breakdowns on here are slightly over the top. We'd need a new stroke unit in Hull if any of you were Chelsea fans. Imagine, all that money on players, the club, the manager, and look where they are. Yes we have a good squad, yes we should be able to ride the waves of injuries better than most, yes some of our players seem a bit off at the mo. But, it'll come together soon. Bolton I wager. That'll be a 5-0 to us, or they'll break their 14 run without a win. That's football. Jose out.
Okay, think about what you've just said. He scored 8 goals. You're complaining about how they went in, not celebrating the fact that they went in at all?
I really dont think you meant it like this but you just paid him a massive compliment. It's the job of a striker to be in the right place at the right time and if he's scoring half his goals from a yard out then he's doing bloody well.
I know but he lives in hull... Our mods did an IP search when he made a nuisance of himself on our board. If you want to see what ur taking on, check out his lone battle against Sam dingle on the Boro board..,,
While i enjoy a battle of wits, it is my time honoured tradition not to fight an unarmed man, but thanks anyway.
Thanks for the invite chippy but I really can't be bothered, plus I really don't need any further confirmation that he's a total arsecunt
Another thing that's annoyed me is Alex Bruce. How many times this season has he been replaced in the first half? 3? He gets injured every single week, whether it results in him going off or not. His body can't be up to playing at this level any more because this is happening far too regularly.
