City do this every season and lose silly games, they will also have good runs. Taking advantage of their drops in form and putting pressure on is needed from those of us around them.
Aguero, any team would miss. Toure? Good for 45-50 mins, then he's shagged out. Kompany isn't the player he was either. I can foresee an Arab chequebook taking a severe bashing in the very near future!
But £ity have money to burn. At one point, they had about 3 top players for every position in the team! There cannot be any excuses for this, not against Stoke!
I hope TalkShite get Noel Gallagher back on, soon, so that Adrian Durham can rip the piss out of him.
Almost three! City defense asleep - again! If they don't spend big in Jan, it could be goodbye to CL never mind the title...
Not forgetting Silva who's only just returned from injury. Any team in the world would miss a quartet like that.
Its impossible to have sympathy for City...they have spent so much money in the last 7 years since they were taken over that their reserve players should still be good enough to at least put in a performance. ..it wasn't that they lost lost yesterday...it was they were truely ****...stoke could have scored 5 or 6. And this is after Liverpool and Spurs stuffed them 4 -1 since late September.
Agreed. Their defense is old and creaking. Yes, they miss Kompany, but he can't do it all. And without Aguero up front they look toothless too. With the money they've got, the players they have, and have had and let go, they have only themselves and their poor planning to blame.
Bony looks completely out of sorts whenever he plays for them. He's a shadow of the player that he was at Swansea. Wonder if they'll ship him out in January? His old club could badly do with him back.
Only got himself to blame. He went there knowing he was unlikely to be first choice striker, so it seems the money was the attraction. He's been getting so little game time, he's forgotten where the goal is.
He knew that he was unlikely to displace Aguero, but the Argentinian misses so much time through injury that he probably figured he'd be playing a fair bit. He's played 17 times this season, so I don't think that he can put it down to a lack of game time. He had malaria over the summer, apparently. Had a bunch of injuries last season, too. Neither of these can have helped, but he's been pretty awful for City so far.
