I currently have a really nasty chest infection and l feel like total sh1t. I do not think l could feel much worse than l do right now ( having been awake most of the night) but ask me again around about six o clock this evening, chances are l will be feeling much worse. Can anyone guess why?
I too used to wear a silk hanky in the breast pocket of my Trevira tow-tone coat. It was green/purple and uber smart. The hanky was one of those that was little triangles of silk glued onto a cardboard backing and was just for show. It was the 70's and l would have been about 14 yrs old. Lol where have the years gone. The whole ensalmbe was complimented by a Ben Sherman button down shirt, stay press trousers and highly polished brogues.
Yeah l guess so, all the kids dressed that way at the time. Very smart and not cheap if l remember correctly. Brands like Levis, Dr Martins, Fred Perry, Ben Sherman, Stay press, Trevira, Crombie Coats and Harrington Jackets. Lots of those still popular today. I suppose it varied from region to region, anybody remember any more?
