Impressive round of hurdling by Yorkhill. Actually looked a natural over them today, didn't have to beat much but did it well.
Hugely impressed by Kalane in that mares chase she and the 2nd jumped beautifully the whole way and she just had more gears. Lovely performance both will be winning decent races.
I've backed Balkinstown next at 6/1 in Punchestown. Donagh Meyler up top (our home based D G Noonan) gets the full allotment of tongue tie and cheek pieces today as well. Ground no issue and can hopefully go well in this minefield of a race. I'm using the scattergun approach today, no study, just picking at random.

Plenty of money for Djakadam as well. Obviously confidence behind him that he's ready for his reappearance today. I've got no strong opinion of the race, he should win of he's right. I'd like to see Hidden Cyclone run well again, seems in good spirit at the minute and has match fitness on side too.
