Why don't Harry Reed and Gastòn play any more?

Totally agree about Harrison Reed. Suits the DM role better than Davis and JWP who are both better further forward and if anything JWP should be on the right crossing the ball in for our tall CF to cause problems.

Tin Tin, I agree and I think that I'd a big loss to us. I don't quite get it, Reed had generally been outstanding for us ( Everton Dec 2014)_ but WardProwsevhas had endless game time, is he better, I am not convinced, I think Reed had had a ****ty end of the stick

Grow a pair? It's a difference of a opinion and nothing about growing balls.

    Ramirez:
    Played: 53
    Scored: 8
    Assists: 8

    Juanmi:
    Played: 12
    Scored: 0
    Assists: 2

So yeah Juanmi is struggling. But he will be given more of a chance. I still can see both leaving.

I think you have to accept it isn't going to happen and is too late now. Ramirez has only made 2 sub appearances under Koeman in the league. That's it. Baffling to me, but it is what it is. It's surely too late now for Koeman to change his mind and suddenly start picking Ramirez when Ramirez' contract expiring in the Summer. The statistical comparison with Lallana I did strongly suggests he has been treated unfairly. He should have had more chances under Koeman. Koeman only giving him two sub appearances is really ridiculous imo.

It's even more ridiculous when you consider he's had better end product for us than Lallana did in the PL. And this sort of thing is a fact, not an opinion.

And there I'd our problem, we paid £8mm for Clasie ,is hr £8m better than Reed, I am not sure, so we end up losing a promising youngster probably on 20% of wage of someone no better- therein lies the problem of football

Clasie has played 6 games. He needs a chance to step up to the Prem. I hope when Wanyama leaves at the end of the season Reed is given a chance.

In my opinion that performance against Everton, and other ones, in such a short period of time proves he's already a high quality DM. He's barely played for us and put in those great performances. I was disappointed that we decided to sign Romeu and Clasie, rather than play a young English academy player that has showed huge potential (and put in great performances) when given chances.

I agree that Ward-Prowse appears to be the golden boy. It confuses me as to why he's had so many chances compared to Reed.

I agree Clasie needs more time, especially after getting injured. But I we didn't really need to sign Clasie in the first place. Compare Reed's performances for us to Clasie's. It's no contest at all. And Reed is four years younger, from the academy and English on top of that. I hope Clasie can turn it around, but I think we've made a mistake personally signing Clasie instead of playing Reed. Reed's an out and out ball winner, great at making tackles and interceptions. That's what I want from a DM. Clasie is no where near the ball winner Reed is. Clasie hasn't exactly been creative from deep at all either. The fact Clasie has no strength, no bite and is weak in the air isn't going to change either. I'm not trying to tear Clasie apart here, it's just very unfair how Reed has been treated.

Ramirez is ****, we've found that out over the years.

As for Reed, Koeman doesn't seem to like him. Baffling as Reed has looked good in his brief appearences.

Not really sure what you're trying to say. Are you saying his age doesn't matter and if he's good enough he should play?

I agree, as Reed he is already a high quality DM in my eyes. Because a mediocre, average, DM is incapable of putting the performances in that he already has for us. Some DM's could play for 20 years and not put in a performance as good as Reed did against Everton. How he didn't get a proper run in the side is beyond me in all honesty.

I wouldn't mind a midfield three of Reed,Clasie,Romeu or Prowse next season.

Really? So Lallana was a star here and Ramirez is ****? So Ramirez is **** to you despite the fact he has had better end product than Lallana did for us in the PL? Don't bother arguing either, it's a fact.

It honestly wasn't my intention. It just happened as I described the two players. I think Reed's a better DM personally and has more potential to improve.

TinTin, rarely agreed with you. But today, so spot on
Exactly that, it appears we are harmonious on Reed and the outstanding Everton game, more tackle's than rest of the team. Given where we are today I would Luke Reed to play every game ( and Gaston), I thinkReed would give ud more bite. (Gaston more goals)

I get what you mean. Tbh I wouldn't mind a mini clear out in the summer. Get rid of Juamni, Wanyama, Ramirez, Caulker, Martina maybe a few more. Let Reed, Hesketh etc get into the first team squad.
