Erm, am I missing something but what exactly has Aarons done? Nothing as yet except show signs! Saying that, would love to see Mitro up front and Perez and Aarons either side of him, Gini in the attacking midfield role having been given the freedom to roam and two defensive mids (they're all ****e so doesn;t matter who I say) As for defence, DPP wept!
Just play Aaron's wide left. I know its revolutionary to play him in his actual position but he will tear teams a new one if he is ever fit. We have already seen this. He will be off soon enough, then he will get looked after medically and turn into the next sterling.
Instead of the 2 defensive mids why not try the 'double six'? Where you have 2 deep midfielders and one sits back and the other ventures forward from time to time. Bayern Munich have been doing this for a long while and Spurs have been doing it perfectly with Alli/Dier. We could get Colback performing if we did it ourselves and have maybe Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea if they'd let him go otherwise spend a bit more and bring in Jonjo Shelvey.
Maybe because our defence is ****e! Would much prefer one solid defensive mid and a more box to box type midfielder next to him along with Gini. But transfer window wise we should only be focussing on defenders and sort that out once and for all.
While I've decided we might as well stick with steve I can't help worrying when im hearing him say we thought we'd turned the corner at Bournemouth??? They roasted us in every department steve and we were lucky.
Even the poachers have to have a bit about them in the physical department and I'm not convinced Rolando would keep the ball very long up top unless he had a real target man up front alongside him and besides, I'd sooner reserve that spot for Arma before Rolando I think.
But he was the best at it. I think Keegan once said that nobody was better at standing still than Mark Viduka!
