IT was important that Ramsey hit the ground running and he did just that. Coupled with Ozil's imperious form, our midfield did the trick today. But it will be tough, and we'll be relying heavily on both these players to keep us ticking along.
It will be good to see Ramsey get a run in his preferred position and Campbell get a run too. Ideally, I would prefer to see Coq partner with Ramsey as that will be the long term plan once Cazorla retires or plays a secondary role.
It is German engineering, his youth was all spent in German academies, not Turkish ones, I highly doubt he'd be the player he is say if he played in Turkey, no disrespect to the Turks, they just don't make players as good as Ozil.
Ozil definitely Motm today, but Kos and mineral were superb as well. Ox and Ramsey were poor. Campbell starting to look good.
Didn't see the game today, but a very important 3 points, especially with City, Utd and the Spuds all dropping points. I heard that we were a bit poor at times, but who gives a **** ? Given the players we have out and the fact that Sunderland were two wins on the bounce and three clean sheets, I'd say that's a job well done today
Haven't changed my mind. We should be at least six points at the top if all other things mentioned were taken into consideration. The draw against Norwich, the loss against West Brom shows we have a lot of deficiencies. We drew at home against a lacklustre Liverpool earlier this season and we still can't Maureen in the league. If Bournemouth, Palace, West Ham and others can do it why can't we? Serious question.
Of course. Don't address what I said in reply to your post or earlier in the thread. I got my prediction wrong (shocker). Would you care to address what I said earlier? I prefer judging Arsenal based on consistency, not on a single score line that flatters us.
Well as it stands we're currently 2nd in the league, only 2 points off the league leaders, so that would suggest, poor form in November aside that we're pretty consistent or at least better than the rest barring Leicester and that the November results were a blip. I'm not saying that there's not room for improvement because there defo is. Even today at times Cech had to keep us in the game and the dropped points at WBA and Norwich were all from our self-capitulations but we are still right in it. We still do need a DM as Coq is out long term but with bodies returning soon around end of December and January we can build up for a good final half of the season that might even result in some League glory at the end.
Just seen the highlights. Great to see Ramsey involved in some good play and setting up brilliantly for Giroud as well as being there to force one home for himself. Good news for us that he's back in the team.
