Getting back to the subject the loan deal could being lined up could be Ricky Lambert, and the CB could be Collins from West Ham, both would be welcome additions at a fraction of the cost, short term maybe, but the second half of this season is going to be a cracker imo.
I'd be surprised at Lambert as I reckon Berahino might leave meaning WBA would then need 2 strikers. Agreed about Collins, always solid as a rock whenever we've played against him so a yes for me. I'm expecting Sam to go for Carroll but be surprised if it came off.

Why do people think Austin on loan. Has there been a hint he will be loaned out? Surely they need to keep hold of him.
