If Roman finds it a bit of a stretch, I don't mind chipping in a few quid!

So you're back then! A couple of home wins is all it took.

Bit risky you planning to move to a 60,000 seater stadium after todays result !.

    Dont really see the connection?

But i'd rather Roman bought us a whole new team at this stage.

I think he means a lot of the JCL's will ditch Chelsea if you don't have CL football next season.

Planning permission is one thing - going ahead and doing it quite another. Should the worse case scenario happens we won't fill the present capacity let alone 60,000. Wouldn't be surprised to see the brakes put on this until we can get some measure of stability on the paddock.

A stadium is a long term vision, involves years of planning and more years of building.

The decision to build will not and should not be affected by a slow start to the season.

    Indeed.
Spurs and West Ham are also looking at new stadiums and or upgrades to their capacities, and win far less than us.
Depends whether you can fill the seats, regardless of the teams success.
To be honest, I haven't been keeping track of our home attendances this season since we started playing gash.
Has their been a drop in attendances at the Bridge this season?

I don't think so. If so, it'll be hundreds rather than thousands.

Not going ahead with the stadium would be akin to accepting we'll never compete long term with the traditional big boys.
