It was like watching league one players today, we had about 4 chances to score and they were garbage. Borini looks to have wasted his chance of getting back in to the team, Fletcher was kicked twice yet the ref did nowt about it !, back to normal is the word now.

    The BBC reporter said :

"Sunderland, who could be dragged back into the relegation zone depending on the results of Bournemouth and Newcastle, can rightly feel hard done by after a performance of both disciplined defence and incisive attacking play".

Keep our nerve and we will be OK,, the results could and should have been a lot better for us to-day, but the improvement in our performances under Big Sam has been very impressive, we are in good hands, and the team is starting to believe, we must too. Onwards and upwards.

TBH on balance of play i think we should have won it! Yes borini fluffed a good op early on but ffs it was against one of the best keepers in thw orld.

Proper strange feeling to be chuffed with a 3-1 loss but I am!!!

Bring on Watford!!! Havent seen us win in 11 years
    edit:perhaps i should stay away

At the end of the day, we lost to Arsenal at the Emirates. They've won 9 and drawn 3 out of 15 games. O.k., I'm a bit disappointed because I didn't want our little Palace/Stoke bubble bursting. But plenty of teams are going to lose three points there this season, so it's not a serious set-back. Overall performance was o.k., so I can live with it.
