I feel the comment has been taken a bit too literally. I think I'm in the minority of people nowadays that doesn't value western/English life over any other. Armed forces are paid to put their life at risk, civilians on the other hand are who the armed forces should be paid to do everything to protect, not kill.
Don't really understand your comment. I wish to see all innocents especially children protected, but it is an almost impossible task against this evil, as they hide like the cowards they are, behind them. We can only ask that our Forces do their very best and I know for sure that they have lots of hoops and hurdles to go through before pulling a trigger when trying to stop the bad guys. In an ideal and perfect world there would be no need for the armed forces and we all would live in harmony. Reality check: daesh/Isis are religious fascists wanting total control and not giving a **** who or how they kill in the process. Stop ****ing around, hunt them, their paymasters and sympathisers down as thousands upon thousands of civilians, including children around the world will suffer their lunacy; unfortunately it is already happening and we have been far to slow in reacting to it. I believe in the British values of democracy, respect, equality, fairness and justice; none of these words mean anything to daesh/Isis

I don't disagree with any of your comment here? I'm in full agreement. But you don't have to look far to find a lot of comments about how we should just stay out of the way, how no British soldiers should be risked to help the backwards people of the middle east etc.
I'd be staggered if there isn't multiple branches of special forces from various counties inside Syria and surrounding counties.
Imagine how it must feel, living every day in fear that the evil ****s who are now running your town will knock your door down and murder your kids. Then the silver lining that nations with a billion times as much power and resource as ISIS are getting involved to wipe them out...only to find out the people you hoped would save you, are actually just going to drop bombs on you. We're attacking ISIS not to help the middle eastern people, but to protect the west from more Paris events. We would happily wipe out half the middle east as long as we got ISIS with them, and sadly it seems a lot of people are happy with that too.
