I think we played a lot better today than I have seen us play for a long while and I think the team deserve some credit for coming from behind. But we have to improve our brittleness in defence and be more clinical.
It's ****ing annoying as Villa are **** and we always dominate them. I don't think you can call a draw after our recent form disgraceful but it's frustrating as ****.
How can we not beat ****ing Aston Villa at home. ****ing useless. Really ****ing **** week. Turning into a very mediocre season to say the least.
12th, with Palace away, Spurs and Arsenal at home, and West Ham away to come. Need to be much, much better, or we're liable to hit 2016 in 14th place or worse.
The mighty Watford now climb above us in the table. With Crystal Palace and WBA breathing down our neck - it doesn't take much to change does it? Oh well three straight wins and we'll be a Champions League side again I suppose. Mind you at the moment I can't see who'll get our goals and how we'll keep clean-sheets.
Romeu should start the next game as a reward for scoring imo, we really needed that. Funnily enough, even though I didn't agree with bringing him on, I wanted him to start this one.
My prediction for the season was for somewhere around 8-12th. Just not seeing that level of performance to warrant my prediction. We are playing more like 10-14th at present. So disappointing and I want us to keep our players but we won't do if we keep playing like this.
We played OK, but we should have steamrollered Villa. They are so ****ing **** it's unbelievable. This result is unacceptable and for only goal to come from a DM is ****ing embarrassing quite frankly. Pelle, Mane and Tadic need to wake the **** up.
