His record remains sketchy at best in big games, which is all any of the "haters" have said.

They were giving their impartial views.

 

Ozil was easily Arsenals best player today and has been our best player this season. He has 14 combined goals and assists in 15 games, he has at least one goal or assist per game in 10 consecutive games currently, he has set a new record for consecutive games with assists for the premier league, I'm pretty sure the stat still stands that he has the best assist to game ratio in premier league history.

As for being sketchy in big games he has scored against Utd and Bayern in wins this season, and got assists against Leicester (1st in the table), Utd and Spurs. So he's done well against the lesser teams and better teams this season. He really is playing very well.

 

I don't doubt the bloke is having a good season. It's the sort of season someone of his supposed calibre should be having IMO. I just don't buy the opinion that he's been a success at Arsenal overall or is at the superstar level that 87, bless him, rates him at.

 

As an Arsenal fan I think he has been a success and watching him week in week out it is clear to see he really is a World Class player. Most talented player that's been at Arsenal for years IMO. And our best player this season easily.
