That about sums us up at present... terrible defending and little imagination at the other end. RK's expression about sums us up at present. Very disappointing.
Sorry didn't know I was carrying on. have not read the rest of the thread, just replied to your post which seemed to be asking a question. Anyway losing again, just like the rest of my Saints supporting life I am back to 'hoping' but being disappointed. Am tired of the club's statements r.e. progress and ambition. We are what we are and the same as we were. Hoping for better in the second half.
When is the last time we have won a game when we are losing at half-time? I can't remember. Probably League One.
People booing here at halftime, I don't agree with that. The guy behind me has moaned the whole game about every player. May have to have a word.
That goal will liven the team up, I'm convinced of it. 2nd half we will come out and destroy Villa. Was a pretty tame 1st half with regards to effort, and we had 4 or 5 clear goal scoring chances. 2nd half will be very different as we make the effort and score some goals I hope

That was a great first half. Nothing from Saints and a stupid argument about a player who is not doing anything to help. Waits for vitriolic abuse.
Guess it's time to pretend to be confused as to why our performances are trending down in December again, heh.
Tough one, this. On the one hand we look to be the superior team and have controlled large portions of the match. On the other hand, we could easily be up 2-0, but we are down 0-1 on a very soft goal. I guess we'll see what the team is made of in the second half. If they come out with confidence they can still easily win this match. If they come out with their heads down, we could just as easily lose 2-0.
