Only Rodwell is a natural CM, and he's nowhere near fit enough to start. Gomez is a more attacking player, nowhere near a straight swap for either Catts or Seb in the engine room imo.

Big miss is Catts, not without precedent, looks like Borini and DW as the front pair, great to have a pair like them, playing counter attack, lets hope we are in with a fighting chance. ,

Watmore causing them all sorts of problems already. I said in a previous thread I was worried he could be another "James McClean" - looks like I could be very wrong! Shows the difference between having a few braincells compared to the zero McClean had / has.

    Yedlin, ball watching
    Pantilimon, terrible positioning and movement

Crap goal to concede after a great half hour

Sam has you playing much better than he ever had us playing. He's a much more experienced manager now though and during his time at West Ham I don't think he got enough credit for the way he developed the team and the playing style. People just stick to lazy clichés and ignore what is actually being done.

You're playing alright today, whatever the result you've been decent so far barring one ball-watching error.

We deserved that equaliser. Even if if was a touch lucky.

Played some decent counter attacking football. Just hope we don't get too ambitious and get caught out early in the second half.

They look a different set of players with a bit of confidence and some results.

Sweet. We're playing well. Yedlin cost us the goal ball watching. M'Vila out of this world, could be playing against his next club today. Much much better from Ola, Borini is as rusty as hell but to be expected. Duncan is having a good game but better get used to being clattered <laugh>

Really impressed with us today. I know Arsenal have been hit hard by injuries but they are still a top 4 side and we don't look out of place. I think Sam has told them to go play today after Wegner has been telling everyone that we would be defensive all day long.
