    City's results and that utd team show just how mediocre the PL is this season in terms of outright quality.

    The gap between the top teams and most of the rest is very close and a case can be made for any of the top6 (bar leicester probably) winning the league and none of the english teams being around come the sharp end of the CL.

    The current projection is for 1st to have 76 points. It's back to the mid 90's in terms of points required for the winners.

    City losing doesn't really help us. Especially as Tottenham and Leicester are winning, we get no closer to top 4.

    Age is on his side alright, I wondered if we had just one season with Vardy doing for us what he's currently doing for Leicester, would that propel a real title shot.
