    I hope he bags a **** load of goals and shuts some of you up.

    he is a leeds player and he has my 100% support.

    if he does i hope the ones who have slated him will post on here their public apology!

    Must hold my hands up & admit to not having been too complimentary about Billy in the past but I agree,the guy's a Leeds United player & we need to support the lad 100% so from now on no more negative posts from me.

    Just needs to regain some confidence & could turn out to be a Lee Chapman type player who puts himself about,holds the ball up to lay off to others,& bags a few tap ins himself.

    Hope it comes good for him.

    Hardly call 45 in 122 scoring for fun (16 of those were pens), especially as they were all in League 1 <doh>


    Paynters Championship form however is 4 goals from 53.

    Grayson must be scratching his head (or arse) about Billy Bunter though - scores 4 against Leeds in 2 games, then scores 1 for Leeds in 32 games!!!

    When Leeds were after him or rumours were surfacing I spoke to a friend who is a Swindon supporter. He told me you are welcome to him <confused>

    I pointed out his 26 goals in 44 appearances and the friend of mine commented "yeah but did you see them?"

    He kindly informed me how poor his scoring record had been the previous two seasons and that at least 20 of those goals were very fortunate.

    He told me that Paynter will never create his own goal and run 20 yards BUT if he has another lucky season where he seems to be standing in front of an empty net we might get 10 goals in a season out of him.

    I thought it was sour grapes at first <wah>
