Had a little e/w tickle on Josses Hill at 16s in the Tingle Creek, think he has cracking place prospects on decent ground at his optimum trip. Indeed, if Mr Henderson's magic hands have managed to eke out some improvement over the summer he could end up going very close.

I tend to agree with that. It's a generous price for a horse with improvement in him. I think VV is a worthy favourite all the same.

Got 15/8 earlier. This wins and wins well.

Lovely horse, very charismatic and really takes a cut at his fences - Arkle winner IMHO Beefy - have him at 16s for that (funny, I'm sure I took 20s <laugh>) and I can see him shortening if he wins well tomorrow <ok>

I was at Warwick when he won last time out and he jumped superbly. You could not keep the smile off Darryl Jacob's face when he came back to unsaddle.

I'm on at 15/8 too for tomorrow.

Wheelbarrow job? Will double this up with VALBRO VALTAT, seems Nicholls farms this race.

Not sure about wheelbarrow lads, I'd a loved more rain for the lad but think the opposition are extremely beatable in tomorrow's circumstances.

Couldn't a had Vibrato Valtat on my mind Mick but the race so badly cut up the Arkle 4th could be good enough!

    Couple others I like.
    1.35 Navan Ttebob 13/8
Reminded me on his debut of the fabulous Un de Sceaux in full flight he was THAT good. Ping ping ping. Jumps and moves through his races like a classy novice. Could be pretty useful in this sphere.

    1.40 Aintree Vics Canvas 14/1 e/w
He's long in the tooth now but that's what you need for this race.

The podcast are certainly keen on him and you'd be daft to think he's anything other than very, and I do mean very, solid.

Black Hercules out at Navan - are we expecting anything other than a win?

He probably will but he might be made to work for it by the Giggy horse, All Hell Broke Loose. That one was second behind my selection for the earlier race Ttebob and a step up in trip should suit.

If the meeting goes ahead he should win with a clean round. Kerrieonvic is a potential dark horse, ran a good race over hurdles after a long absence the last day and could improve a lot for that blow out and a fence.

He was awesome wasn't he. Rematched it again to ensure I hadn't over estimated him but nah, he still jumped like a stag! Piles of money for the Fleming/Connell runner. That's become a really regular occurrence in Irish racing this season I've noticed. Plenty of times the money goes astray too, hopefully the case tomorrow too!

Thoughts on the lotto chase at Aintree surely DON POLI @ 4/5 will bolt up (can't believe I didn't back him at 7/4 when I saw he was on Wednesday!
