I think that we will run out of steam...we have done well but are still only in 5th place...logic says we will have a poor spell so will loss points...arsenal have had their poor spell, as have city and united (performance wise) so I would be surprised if we came above them (I would love to be wrong of course). I think that Everton, Liverpool, Spurs, Leicester and Palace will battle out for 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th.
Probably, yes, but then most of us will never see our team win anything. If you support a small club then it's games like that (and last night's) that are the fondest memories. Regardless, if Arsenal scored twice late to get a 4-4 at Spurs, fans would be crowing about it for years and we'd have about 73 threads on here about Spurs bottling it.
Somebody needs to keep you spuds in check. Otherwise we hear all sorts of bollocks about power shifts and celebrating draws like they are wins
We could and should have beaten you comfortably. You know it, so do I. I'm Not celebrating a draw, I'm mourning the loss of two points.
No, it's been a failing of ours for a while now. We're getting better. We finished City off, gave the Spammers a real hiding, but we failed to finish you off when we should have and paid the price later on.
It's been a failing of yours for the last two decades. How many times have we heard you spuds crowing about overtaking Arsenal, only to fall short yet again ? In that time we have won the league 3 times, the FA cup 6 times including two doubles ! Only 11 more league titles to catch us up eh ?
Hmmm, I want to respond with a cutting remark but have to consider that I'm in my 40's and live in Wales.
And yet you still know exactly what I'm talking about, without me having to refer to it or quote any comments. Funny that.
I've read PIXIE's attempts to lay down his excuses, in the event that Spurs finish above Arsenal, and it has sickened me to the pit of my stomach! It's pathetic and cowardly! Mind you, it does, at the very least, demonstrate the great fear that PIXIE has that Spurs will do (what, for him, will be) the unthinkable!
