Speaking of #meltdown "Klopp is overrated. Almost got the 2nd best team in a two-horse race relegated. Bottled it and ran away. Took a year to recover from the #meltdown " Post 15,303 of http://www.not606.com/threads/transfer-rumours-thread.290748/page-766#post-8385274
The coward's way of avoiding putting his own opinion on the line. " My friend, a manc, said...". Just like " I am not racist but as my best friend who is black said..." If he thinks there is a title challenge coming up, he should say it rather than hiding behind this imaginary manc friend who is a reporter. And we all know how much credibility reporters, journos, pundits are regarding footie performances and outcomes. Some of them still think the chavs may come back and win the title
I was merely reporting a conversation I had with him. They were his views. He loves utd and hates Liverpool, so that's his opinion not mine. As Page said, we've all got one.
Haha. #meltdown Just keep calm and tell your "friend" who happens to be a "manc" and "a reporter" not to talk out of his arse...
Well in that case his opinion is no more or no less valid than most fans. I happen to agree with him that Liverpool are in the mix. I disagree that we're not though, we're still getting results while treading water, we've got too many good players to slide down the table and it really should be a mere matter of time before they start to play better. Should be! In that respect I see us as one of the favourites for the league.
Meltdown? Your opinion means nothing to me. My mate's does, as he actually knows what the **** he's talking about, you soft blend.
He didn't say we would win it. If you read it, Ruff, he says "if you go on a run". Big if, but he was objective about the other teams as well. I posted it purely to stimulate a bit of discussion. In case you hadn't noticed, both our boards are quieter than they used to be.
If you look at the league table tonight all logic says that those behind us now will stay there. So, I really can't see any worse than fifth. The league isn't completely out of the question, as mad as that sounds, but we definitely should be able to overhaul one of the current top four (probably Spurs) to secure that magical fourth place minimum. Living the dream!
To be honest, 7 points is nothing in this league... for anyone that actually wants it, it's there. Had we done better against Norwich and any one of Newcastle or Stoke, we'd be around there. The trouble is far too many teams are making a meal of things. It only takes one. I have a feeling City will find that form now. United will get top 4. I think it will be at the expense of Leicester. Liverpool know they're out of it.
