Welcome Jimmy. You have some big shoes to fill but, rest assured, most, if not all, QPR fans will give you 110% support.

Absolutely. Although Neil has done wonders, and I must say I would have loved to see him continue....but there are more important things than football, and spending time, giving support to Sharron, is obviously the most important. I think all RRRRs wish you both the very best.

JFH is definately a better bet than Tim not nice but Dim, and Chris Powell, or Steve Clark. He has done well with other teams (Royal Antwerp and Burton, no it wasn't all down to Rowett!)....
As RTID says we need need to get right behind him....come on uRRRRs...come on Jimmy Floyd Hasselbainks Blue and White Army
(small note to JFH...can you change your name please it is at least one syllable too long)

Further thought. It seems odd to me to just walk in and take training. I would have imagined a sit down, chat, few words about myself, ask the team to tell me something about themselves, their hopes etc. I suppose all this does happen and maybe the training is just a photo op. Does anyone know?

All the intros will be done at training, and of course there should be training today. Only 12 out field players were involved last night so the rest need to be working , along with a recovery session for those involved. I think we need to try Smithies soon as Rob Green is becoming increasingly suspect. You really dont know what to expect when the ball is passed back and his distribution from the hands is so slow.

JFH is at our training sessions, but his appointment has not been announced?

I am a bit lost on this, or perhaps I have missed something.
Can anyone help clarrify what is going actually going on?

Very grim looking. He probably just found out that Traore is on our books.

Maybe not use the undertones song then :(

    Little mummy's boy
    He wasn't very old
    Though he was very small
He did what he was told
    Jimmy Jimmy
    Jimmy Jimmy, oh
    Jimmy Jimmy
Poor little Jimmy wouldn't let go
    He'd stay awake at night
    Lying in his bed
    No one ever listened
To a single word he said
    Jimmy Jimmy
    Jimmy Jimmy, oh
    Jimmy Jimmy
Poor little Jimmy wouldn't let go
    Silly boy
    Silly boy
    Silly boy
    Such a silly boy
    Jimmy Jimmy
    Jimmy Jimmy, oh
    Jimmy Jimmy
Poor little Jimmy wouldn't let go
    Now little Jimmy's gone
    He disappeared one day
But no one saw the ambulance
    That took little Jim away

    Norway - you were correct!
Even so, it was a strange (or original) method of communications.

Agreed. But no time to lose so probably makes sense to let him take the session rather than skip it because of formalities.

I am pretending,...Jimmy said..."I want to get on with the job, want work with the team"....formalities of choosing which desk I have can wait

well i'm afrain its going to be ten divisions in this divisions under jimmy floyd where as neil would have taken us up this season,i dont know how we keep on screwing up poor clark of reading got destroyed by warnock and it cost him his job if jimmy flyd had been our manager we could have lost the reading game 4-0 and at least clark would still have a job
im just a bit confused at the m,oment i like qpr to win games so why have they not put warnock in charge it dosnt make sense

I think Warnock for the season would've been the best bet, but other than that I don't know whether this is a good appointment or not. We shall see soon enough, but Neil's little cameo hasn't done him any favours in building up expectations and delivering hope.
