I stand by my OP, like it or not they are right in it. Just because he joined Liverpool I'm not going to start pretending he's a ****e coach, I've always rated him and would have had him ahead of van Gaal for certain. Did any of you watch them beat Saints on Wednesday by the way? They were good, it would be lovely if we could play that sort of football. It doesn't make them champions of course but it's a better showing then we've managed all season. *vomits*
Aye, if they can develop some consistency in the league then they will be well up there and challenging. Thus far they have shown they can batter sides, even decent sides like City, but every time they batter one they then fall back to earth in the next game, losing to Palace and needing a dodgy penalty to squeeze past a Swansea side that is losing to pretty much everyone at the moment. As some of their more level headed posters have been saying on their board, if they can't sort out the consistency, particularly at home, then they will be struggling to make 4th spot as us, City, Arsenal and Spurs are consistently getting the results to keep us up there, and getting the points when we need to. *note to astro I don't give a **** about how many games you've won the the Europy or Capital One as they have **** all to do with the league

Manchester City: Clearly not the same team from the first 5 matches of the season, as you ably demonstrated, and Aguero may be out for a month. Arsenal: Serious injury problems and lack of squad depth is a major issue. Manchester United: We are **** and only where we are because the whole prem is ****e. Chelsea: Just too far behind to have any chance of winning it. Leicester City: Will blow up sooner or later, probably when they play you. No mention of anyone else. We're 6 points off top with a run of winnable games coming up. He's a gambling man and he's putting some serious money on us, as he thinks there's a genuine possibility. I'm not, but I'm going to havea fiver on it. So do you share his views, or is it just 'unthinkable'?" For the record i would be happy with a 4th place finish and looking at the state of the league this season thats not a delusional possibility.
BTW @Stan here's a hint for your copy and paste #obsession : When the LC draw against Southampton was first made I (and many others) thought it was the only match that there was any doubt over the outcome. It's true that all the other matches were comfortably won by the obvious favourite, but it turned out Klopp produced the biggest margin of victory of all (even with a team of mostly reserves)
What baffles me is that you lot take this blokes word as if gospel because he's a reporter. Why does being a reporter mean you are some football expert? Most are a millions miles from it.

John Cross of the Mirror was most vocal about us being relegation certainties having appointed Claudio Ranieri ... oops never mind John ... we do still need another 11 points to reach that 40 point 'safety barrier' ... it is also obvious that the ratings in fantasy footie competitions such as the Sun's 'Dream Team' are quite often figments of the imagination of statisticians that certainly didn't watch the game
