It says a lot of Neil Warnocks qualities as a manager turning our season around in such a short space of time and under difficult circumstances both at the club and in his personal life.

One of the very best managers this club has ever had. Ranger legend. Take a bow Sir Neil.

He must be retained in some capacity at the club, if only in a ambassador role he must stay. He has far to much knowledge of football and love for the club to just let him go.
Would be missing a big trick if he just leaves, and worse, ends up at a rival.

Ambassadorial role would suit him to a tee, great personality to carry it off........

The joy in his big grin after the match shows how much he loves the club, and still has to offer, both to us and football in general - TF must see this and has to try and keep him at the club in some capacity, no matter what SLF feels (if rumours are true that he is unhappy with Warnock)

We should keep him in some role for a couple of seasons. You never know how JFH get on and succeeded...after all this is QPR. Nevertheless, great victory and thank you neil.

Well done Neil and thank you for your efforts.
I am though starting to worry about our management team growing almost as large as our player roster.

Wouldn't surprise me if we see NW again further down the road.

I now for a fact from staff at the club that a few weeks ago he absolutely wanted the job till end of season.

Some people now saying personal reason means he's leaving but unless that's happened very recent then I don't believe it to be the case (although i'm not saying those personal reasons don't exist just that it isn't his reason for leaving).

His post game comments also made clear he's looking to get back into management so that rubbish's talk of personal reasons

The real reason he is leaving is that he wanted to bring in his own backroom team. Les didn't want him there and especially didn't want to lose his allies on coaching team with Warnock's team coming in.

So as soon as Warnock turned in a few performances and looked like he was going to get the side going, Les had to act quick before it became impossible to not give him what he wants.

Warnock after the game, "It's been a difficult 24 hours. I didn't expect it to be my last game"

Les has won the internal political battle to protect himself but harmed the club putting self-preservation first

If JFH fails then Les must go after turfing out such a great man who has done so much for this club

Something isn't right that's for sure as mustard. Les looks more and more like a shifty backstabber by the day, if he carries on the way he's going his standing in the game will drop like a stone and he will struggle to be employed as no one will trust him or want to work with him, I wouldn't.

The club need to release a list of all candidates interviewed as I want to know if Neil was given an interview if he wanted one.

TF may have taken the word of a harry come lately over a trusted servant, yet again, all while claiming to have learned lessons. Lee Hoo's role in all of this needs to be examined as well as Les has no where near the power that Hoo's does.

While I wait with trepidation I do wonder what bloody hell is going on in our club yet again.

    - There's only one Neil Warnock....

I have a feeling that even if JFH doesn't work out that 'Sir Les' will still be in his job. Warnock would have been a perfect person to steady the ship, such a shame to see him leave.

A BIG Thank You to NW. Someone you just have to admire for the passion he brings to Football.

Now then TF and the rest of the cronie club the choice is very simple , u have appointed JFH but to ensure we keep passion within our club - KEEP Neil in a role that allows him and the club to work together. We need him to stay.

I don't understand why we couldn't just give him the job. What's wrong with 2nd chances? 2nd Chances are what we need at our club.

Bless him. NW has been the best thing we'd had since the whole Italian fiasco we documented so well in the film.

I think TF should re-think it and just admit that we're better off with NW here, and let him coach alongside.

He should never have been sacked in the first place. I'm convinced that we would be in a better place than what we are if he'd been our manager for the last five years.

I've just watched his post match interview on QPR Player and he has made his first public reference to his wife being ill. He also said that ...

''It was great to hear the fans chanting my name up there but I was too scared to wave in case they scored. ''

''The Captain getting the winner finished my night off really. It was good. ''

    Thank you Neil.

Best manager we've had at the club in donkeys years and we're getting shot of him for the second time? Swiss Tony gets some seriously bad advice. How that man can shoot himself in the foot so often beggars belief

I can't believe we're allowing a top proven championship manager to leave... And in his place bringing in the latest hyped-up flavor of the month. Warnock is exactly what we need now- which makes this a worrying decision.

I can only hope Les/Hoos are going for a longterm style of play that they feel JFH is more suited to.

    Dear Neil,

In two stints at managing our great club you've clearly demonstrated what a difference a proper manager can make & are clearly one of the best in the game at this level. Unfortunately it appears that this is going to be a shorter stint than you (& the fans) deserve. If you had remained at the helm I have little doubt we would have soon been challenging for promotion & lets hope whoever takes over will be able to continue your great work.

What you have achieved will always be appreciated & I'm sure you'll be held in great esteem by the fans of this club. Wishing you the best in your future endeavours (except if playing the R's).

    Yours Sincerely,

    A long suffering QPR fan.
