You could look at it that way . There's no way he should be a scapegoat though as it's not his fault for carrying out the managers instructions to his own detriment.
Huddlestone being a bit of a unit might give us more impact phyiscally in Maloneys position and we would see the clinical passing used to better effect, the trouble with pinging long-range passes like he does from deep is that although they hit the target they are telegraphed and less effective, up the pitch the defenders can't react. Hat is right though too regarding the other tactics. My worry about Maloney is he's a bit powderpuff and doesn't bring too much to the table if he's not in the game and if it's not going for him at least Huddlestone can bring his physical presence to the table near the oppos box and not near his own
The problem playing Hudds is that SB will only play him in the centre where he drops back & is a liability, if he played him further forward then it means only 1 up front & then it just doesn't work again!
He seems a bit lightweight to me, just my impression. Does Happy Tiger ever think for himself without just agreeing with somebody else, never seen him post any kind of proper analysis on here about players. Lets see your critique of Maloneys game then Happy Tiger, what are his attributes and explain why you think he is a better attacking midfielder than Huddlestone
Yeah sorry, me and Lambo, thick as thieves we are. Can't help agreeing with everything he types. It's a curse. Soz Lambo, I'll try to stop it. You want my critique? **** off you whinging **** and stop having a player of the week to write utter **** about. You're welcome.
for me.maloney has good feet and can create his own openings.and fills the gap between huddleston and livermore who both play too deep.i like hudd but he just doesnt suit us, livermore plays better without him.but it has to be a choice of maloney or diame as the top of the diamond, with two up top for me.probably diame after tuesday.i thought he was excellent
Surely you're not half cut again like last week? I quite like you when you're sober but if you want to make a point make it without latching onto somebody elses coat-tails
I think you're a **** regardless of whether I'm sober or not. I don't drink in the week. I'm not drunk. You are a whinging **** though. It doesn't make you interesting posting utter bollocks about one of our players every week. Describing Maloney as a bit of a powder puff doesn't deserve discussion. It just needs pointing out that the **** who posted it is a ****.
Where's your analysis of Maloney? Come on I'm waiting. This a forum where people express opinions about players, you aren't playing ball.
Don't worry Wetherspoons answered for you, he knows his stuff. Probably better you don't comment on football anyway, stick to bootlicking Mr Hat and OLM
I ain't playing with your balls. Stop trying to groom me. Stamping your feet and holding your breath won't trick me into treating you as capable of having a discussion. Find someone else to stalk ****lugs.
Getting a bit weird now, I'm out. Not sure why you didn't reply with the comment you made on Saturdays game thread, maybe its the drink or something mate
A bit lightweight and flits in out of games. Don't think theres much wrong with that analysis but getting tired of arguing with the locals/Leicester dummies tonight so will leave it there
