Gouff wants out...... there is a god! http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport...ffran-may-quit-newcastle-in-january-1-7604045 Yoan Gouffran is ready to call time on his Newcastle United career and leave in search of first-team football. Gouffran has made just two Premier League appearances for the relegation-threatened club so far this season. And the forward has been linked with January moves to Bournemouth and Lille. Gouffran – who came off the bench in last weekend’s 5-1 defeat to Crystal Palace – has been trying to force his way into Steve McClaren’s plans. But his future seemingly lies away from United, with the 29-year-old having played just 226 minutes of football so far this season.
I have far more respect for players who realise they are just not good enough for the team they play for and decide to look for another club.
Albert, were you wearing your yellow chinos at the Courteeners gig and were they made more yellow when you got splashed with the pints of piss? And have you washed them yet?
I went for red ones.... they weren't too badly soiled by the end of the night but some kebab sauce made we look as though I had a dark **** stain on when I walked in.
There is no doubt that Gouffran has been **** for us. But you know what? I don't hold it against him. He has been **** because he hasn't been good enough (whether that is down to the setup or his lack of ability is hard to tell). He's a bit like Williamson for me. He's **** but he tries. He shouldn't be in the squad but at least he usually runs around a bit and puts in a shift. I'll wish him all the best when he does go. There are others we have who my anger is directed towards far more due to knowing they do have the ability if only they could be arsed to put in a bit of effort.
You're seriously going to carry on pretending it wasn't a **** stain? Speaking of which back on topic - Gouf is crap but as Nev says, at least he tries, most of the time. He can leave without any fuss but if so I'll wish him all the best.
Would be interesting to see what he is like up front! Can't be worse than others who have played there this season.
I like Gouffran. I'm going to put it out there, I think he's a decent player. He has pace, pops up with the odd goal, which is more than all our other wingers combined have ever managed, and he works hard occasionally. He's not great, but he cost about 1 million. I'd say he was one of the better buys. The rest are absolute ****e!
I'm taking the wife to the Simply Red concert tomorrow night. What price me pissing in a pint and chucking it over an unsuspecting Mick Hucknall? Just for a giggle like.
I think this is unfair treatment of the lad personally. He was a cracking player at his former club, and one of the top scorers, and he was excellent when he first came here, but he was turned from an attacking mid/support striker, into a ****ing left defensive midfield player. Not fair at all really.
I'll give you a quid if you do Dorts. Then when he is beelin you can sing 'holding back the tears'.....
What about when he was moping round the pitch?... Just after coming on as an impact sub...... Oh and blanking the away fans (seen it myself) and scooting down the tunnel without showing his appreciation. Like a few of our players he has the heart of a mouse yet gets paid like a prince.
Too true. The lad can **** off with his mediocre football and face like a slapped arse as far as I'm concerned. I find it hard to believe people are saying he's a hard worker. Baffling.
Let's not try and say we are playing this ****ehawk out of position for ****s sake, unless your eyes are broken it is pretty obvious although not bad for 1m, he defo falls in category of ****e
