Win for the Foxes written all over it, and hopefully the end of Monk, my patience is at and end with him, and it will be beyond his capability to get a home win this Saturday, so hopefully our Board will get nervous enough to give him the proverbial boot............
Hind sight is a wonderful thing , his value was appropriate for how he was perceived at the time , I remember similar discussions on what a bargain Michu was , IF he had maintained his fitness who knows what he could have achieved .
Doesn't it just show lads that there is so much talent in the none league football, I've seen better players in Underwood park that at the Liberty, and Vardy is proof of this, and I have always banged on about how Swansea Scouts are none existent at looking through the none leagues, especially the Welsh league....
Can't see us scoring and the way Leicester are playing I think they are gonna be all over us. 0-2 and that is me being hopeful!! As for us being able to keep Liverpool shots to a minimum lets not forget they had played only a few days earlier and no Courtinho. The Foxes are playing a free flowing confident game at the moment and more importantly know where the back of the net is. Whereas we are more than a little pedestrian and seem to have no idea what the back of a net looks like never mind where it is!!
We better be ready to work are socks off to keep up with this Leicester team , there are no lazy Foxes , this is the hardest working team in the League and we will have little time on the ball before a Fox is on us. That being said , I think our team will work there socks off and every player put out there will not want A crowd reaction like the last home game to light a fire under them. So Tally-ho.......
Keep a look out for our superb little dynamo in central midfield, N'Golo Kante ... for me the Premiership buy of the season ... he's 5ft nothing but he won more tackles than anyone in the major European leagues last season ... he has carried that on for us and him and Danny Drinkwater have formed a smashing central midfield partnership ...
We have a 5 ft nothing player that I hope starts this game in Leon Britton , he can be the answer to Leicester's quality in midfield imo.
I've always likes Britton - the problem for him will be that Kante is like the brown stuff off of the shovel and at Leon's age he may well need a respirator by half-time ... in fact you will just love the speed of our counter attacks ...
And I can't wait to beat you , we kick on from here and you're scalp is as good as any to start. Also , Leon can have a respirator all he wants after 60 minutes , he won't need one till then
He's still our manager rightly or wrongly , so I'll be there supporting him the team the club , I hope the side hasn't given up as easily as some on here have
I can't stand Monk personally , he's a sniffling little fuk in my book ,but he's our manager and will always get my support while he is the manager .He's done an ok job if you leave out his first 10 games in charge and his last 10 games . He has a huge opportunity to pull us out of this mess with a home win against Leicester , a Lecester team whose scored in every game this season but hasn't put one by us in the last 3 visits. But Monks opportunities have gone past where they should have and he better get a win here
"I can't stand Monk personally , he's a sniffling little fuk in my book" Oh,how times have changed. If I had posted these words only a short while ago, several things would have happened, viz, Jager would have gone into paroxysms of rage, accusing me of posting "antagonistic bullshit". Dragon would have accused me of being "a Monk hater",oh,and of being "a Cardiff fan". Whitey would have called me "a twat". Then there's our totally unbiased, reasonable mod,Valley. He would have closed the thread "for obvious reasons",and then banned me for returning Whitey's "twat" comment whence it came. I could list a few more, but that will do. What a bunch. Little wonder this forum is now struggling. Clearly anything goes with regards Monk now. Poor old Garry,he doesn't have any idea of the **** storm that will erupt hereabouts should Leicester win on Saturday. "The times they are a changing". We know,Bob,we know.
