From what I saw the use of the word "plays" in the OP is stretching things a tad.......

Caulker hadn't played in a while before this game and was thrown in against a rampant Liverpool side with a hungry Daniel Sturridge, who for my money, when fit, is England's best forward.

Would have been a difficult assignment for anyone, but his defending for their last goal was especially poor.

The guy just needs a Manager who will give him confidence, Liverpool's instant transformation under Klopp illustrates that perfectly.

Was never that impressed by Caulker, but hard to blame just him for the goals. Their Manager took it anyway for changing the system.

He needs a manager who can give him some ability and keep him out the pub for a few hours.

    Bouncer?

Back in the day it all looked so bright on paper pairing the experience of Rio with the raw youth of Caulker to show him the ropes:-

I agree I think it's harsh ..... Liverpool were going to smash who ever was I that back 4
Thrown in at the deep end after not playing for ages. I still think good player in there it's all about confidence , his move to is quickly sapped what he had out of him I believe .

I may be wrong just think it's harsh ....

It is harsh. Harsh but fair. Caulker has an unprofessional attitude and lacks the ability to make up for it. If he wasn't British he'd probably have never become a professional footballer.
