I've kinda answered mine on the Ayoze Perez thread.... but who is your current favourite player and why? A close second to Perez for me is Gini. He's still adapting but for ANY midfielder to score 3 goals on the premiership... he has to be a different class....
The problem I had was that all our players are so and have been so poor for such a while I literally had to go and look at a list of all our players to answer this question. Only Perez stands out - someone who has generally performed, given his all and spoken passionately about the club. No-one else comes even close. When you think back to past squads there has always been a spread of players who fans preferred and this shows the lack of leadership in our squad, a lack of flair, a lack of grit, a lack of effort. What ever you look for in a player to be classed as your favourite we lack it!

Current favourite player? That's easy, Jamie Vardy I don't have a favourite toon player at the moment <tears>

Adam Armstrong is my current fav player to watch. In the Newcastle side atm though, probably Mike Williamson, his temper entertains me, he is such an angry bloke and shows so much enthusiasm! Always talks a lot of sense and I reckon he would be a proper laugh on a night out!
Emmanuel Riviere has been much improved this season compared to last. I know some people are saying we should allow Adam Armstrong to extend hos loan at Coventry but I would love to see how he has improved in the new year. I feel sorry for Perez as it must be soul destroying watching your teammates strolling around while you are busting a gut. He is an outstanding talent and one of the few pluses of this season.
