Haha, right time to log off for a while. Calling Clasie a 'waste of money' has done it for me!

Someone let me know when it's safe to come back on!

Agree pretty much. Cedric is about our level but Clasie just looks way off the pace and too weak...............at the moment. Hope he proves me wrong like Mane.

Hopefully half time in the Villa game.

If that goes badly see you in 2017.

Until Koeman puts out the right side I'm going to keep being most annoyed at him. He almost got it right tonight, but then went and ****ed up by picking Caulker. Yet again he didn't redeem his selection mistake at half time. His substitutions in the game leave a lot to be desired. I understand that he was going for broke... but you simply can't make the double change he made after 63 minutes and not expect to get embarrassed when you are already 3-1 down.

For me the CBs should be in this order: Fonte (auto first choice as captain), VVD, Yoshida, Gardos (I know he's injured), Caulker.

I was sure they were in that order too before tonight. It's genuinely like Koeman forgot Yoshida is a centre back. That being said the team can't be losing 6-1, that's not acceptable. Stekelenburg shouldn't have let in 6 tonight. It was a goal if they hit the target.

I don't have a problem with him making selection decisions that are open to debate. But surely no one in their right mind thinks Caulker is a better centre back than Yoshida. With Yoshida you have a solid centre back. Caulker looks at sixes and sevens from the kick off.

Might go the nostalgia route for the rest of the season :)

Go and watch the mighty Imps and see the Saints result on the videprinter afterwards :)

I agree totally, I thought a few weeks ago that Clasie was coming up to speed and looked promising but tonight was a huge step backwards. As for Stekenlenberg, Martina, Juanmi and Caulker simply not good enough for this level sadly. This performance has been coming for some time and Ron must find a way to stop the rot.
Also he should take some of the blame for bringing in players that are quite simply not up to scratch.

Some massive over reactions in here. Yes losing 6-1 is not acceptable and it was a ****ing woeful performance, but these games happen to middling sides likes us. We aren't a top 6 side, we won't be in a relegation battle, we will finish somewhere between 8th and 14th. It is basically impossible for us (or any of the other sides in the PL) to regularly challenge the top 7 without significant changes in the way we are run, which seems unlikely

Agree with most of this, though I think you're being hard on Caulker. He was no more to blame than Cedric for tonight's defensive shambles.

And I would have done better in goal than Stek, despite being 54. But as you say, he's a back up keeper.

I understand the anger and frustration but saying Clasie is a **** signing is ridiculous. Oh great, I've just seen we would have got Stoke. That has really cheered me up. :(

We have 3 backup keepers who seem to concede a goal almost every time an attempt is on target.

We should have signed a more reliable keeper, we knew Forster was a long time injury

In defence to Stekelenburg, the 3rd goal was deflected. He probably still should have saved it, but not a howler as I originally thought. Had no chance with the other goals.
