but I do support Saints so I do have bouts of extreme depression and moments of unexplainable euphoria! (not at the moment though)

Yes, but so do I - imagine us both being depressed or euphoric together! The world wouldn't survive!!

Before I get lambasted. VVD has been good, Cedric reasonable although he can't cross. Stekenlenberg, Martina, Juanmi and Caulker not up to it. As for Clasie seems small and not impressed. That isn't a great transfer window

VVD is fine. Cedric is nowhere near Clyne and Clasie is just nowhere near Schneiderlin and not as good as Prowsey..........which is a problem.

Without Mane we would already be fighting relegation.

Send Steven Caulker back to the ****hole from whence he came. He should never wear a Saints shirt again. Useless twat.

Let's draw Nigel's blue line under it. It's just a cup. No reason not to risk everything at half time. Time to move on, leave it to the North to fight over and get our focus back on the league

I imagine that's the last we'll see of Caulker. Surprised Ron played him ahead of Yoshida. Maybe he's played Yoshi so much at RB he's forgotten he's actually a CB. Rons got a lot of work to do now to get the teams confidence back. We've been shipping far too many goals recently and have only been looking dangerous in very concentrated spells. This is increasingly looking like a 'transitional' season for us. I think a few fresh faces in the January window are going to be important to give the team a lift and essentially trial a few players like Elia and Djurucic last season (even though they didn't come through for us).

I stopped watching at 55 minutes. Ward-Prowse on for Cedric after 63 minutes? Is that a joke?

I'm not a pool fan mate....very rare yo see a team beaten like that at home without the other team particularly playing well.
Wasn't taking the piss...remember them doing us 5 nil at home in AVB's last match and, although we were terrible, they played really well...just don't think that was the case tonight.

Not playing Yoshida over Caulker was remarkable. Does Koeman actually think he's a right back now? I thought Yoshida was nailed on as first choice back up centre back.

Saints actually managed to find a level lower than Sheffield United last season. Bravo Saints. Very ****ing well done.

    VVD: Class

Cedric: Good but needs more games. He is either getting injured or dropped for no reason. So he isn't really getting a run of games.

Stekenlenberg: Average. But then he is a backup keeper

Juanmi: Can't adapt to the English game.

Clasie: Has played 5 games in the Prem and 7 in all. He has to be given more time then that.

Caulker: His reading of the game is complete ****.

Martina: He was never good enough.
