I'm of the opinion that you only live once and I'm buggered if I'm going to deny myself the tastiest food on the planet in my time here.
It was in the US and in SOME Planters products and methods a few years back on the manufacturing process. I get what the other poster is saying about Agar but i did not believe this to be the case otherwise Planters would have argued that point. But it is the same with many products, that it depends how strict you are on your vegetarian diet, the manufacturing process is a minefield.
Lad I trained with is a veggie, he gets his protein from tofu, he never gained a single pound of muscle in two years and eventually just went all Mo Farah on us and just goes running now.
Sounds like she gave up meat for good reason. Maybe she doesn't have the same issues with the way fish are treated that she does with the way animals are treated. Anyone is entitled to draw the line where they like. As for the gelatin debate (same goes for cheese using animal rennet), people are agin entitled to draw the line where they like and no one else should tell them where they should draw that line,as long as they're not getting all preachy to other people about it.
