I've mentioned he's got a bit of an attitude a few times on match threads.

Jelavic got the grief for Wolves remember.

At the end of the season I wonder if we'll regret not signing Andre Gray?

All been said and done and if we couldnt afford it fair do's, but we've said it for ages sign a few raw strikers from the lower leagues FFS
Gray scored 47 in 88 for Luton. Then Brentford signed him. FFS we should have signed him from Luton. Thats not expert scouting is it. It must be someones job to monitor all players in lower and non league.

We should bring in the Peterborough striker recruiter - they alway's sign decent lower league players. We sign crocks or players that don't meet expectations up front.

Nah, getting back from Accrington was a doddle. Mind you, I do live in Preston. It took me an hour and three quarters to get back last night. The M602 was closed and the Mancunian way was down to one lane.

I park on Ashton Old Road. It's parallel to the road the stadium is on. It's about a ten minute walk to the ground. You can get street parking or in some car parks.

I listened to Radio Manchester on the way in. Shaun Goater said we had no chance and that if Man City played at 60% they would win easily. They didn't. We gave them all of their goals. Had that ludicrous first one not happened, it would have been a different game. For 80 minutes we matched them.

On the way out, I listened to Radio Manchester again. They replayed the highlights of the game. After the third goal they said something like "This is looking a bit flattering now". They didn't replay the commentary on our goal! Presumably they'd already set off home like the rest of their fans and missed it.

The Etihad is a seriously impressive place to go for a night match. We were a long way up. I was on Row S. I reckon most of of the people behind me hadn't been so high since Stevie Bruce's had his last party.

Where was this taken from, OLM? I'm just wondering if I'm on it.

    I think that's a very unfair assessment
I'm fortunate to be able to afford to get to all the City matches home and abroad but many others have financial restrictions on which games they can afford to go to.
In the last 2 months we've had 3000 at Monchengladbach,4500 in Seville and 2000 in Turin plus the CL home games and the normal expensive PL programme. Up to Christmas we are having to pay out for Stoke away £43 Leicester away £40 and Arsenal away on the Monday night before Christmas £64
I've spent over £3k already just on travel and tickets so far and we're only just into December
Manchester is a working class area and unlike Utd we just don't attract the tourists to pick up the slack when the fans are choosing games they have to miss.
The COC is obviously the 4th competition in our list of priorities so will be the one that would be the most obvious one to swerve
There were still 33000 man city fans there at a game which Steve Bruce by his team selection didn't seem too interested in the prospect of a cup semi final

That's the first time I've seen the attendance. It didn't look that many but perhaps that because the ground is so big and our section was so full. It's a great stadium.

Lovely stadium the Etihad - but Jesus it took me over 2 hours to do the last 10 miles to the ground approaching from the M6. It was bloody horrendous - is it like that every home game? Ended up missing the first 10 minutes - felt like ****e, so my interest in the game was somewhat muted.

    Night games it's chaotic
There's lots of parents don't take their kids to the evening matches because of how late they are getting home especially if they have school the day after

Hayden was tidy last night, has earned himself a chance in the first team. Livermore was gash again for the third game running, yes I know Huddlestone was on the bench affecting his performance but he still needs to do more. He's been away from the club a long time maybe a rest for a game or two will help him out.

The question is, who plays in his place?

that's what riles me.. you saw when Diamé and Hernandez came on we actually looked in the game.. he defends himself by saying he's given chances to the players who got us there but you can be as loyal and as fair as you want, the fact is we needed our best XI to have a chance againt yours
